Job Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in culinary or kitchen management
- Catering experience preferred
- Knowledge of high volume foodservice operations
- Proficient in computer applications including Microsoft Office
- Willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs
- ServSafe certification highly desirable
Job Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- Some dynamic culinary or kitchen management experience depending upon formal degree or training
- Catering experience is a plus
- Experience in high volume, sophisticated foodservice operations is highly desirable
- Knowledge of institutional and batch cooking techniques
- Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, E-mail and Internet
- ServSafe certification is highly desirable
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement innovative menus and culinary programs
Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef with leading cost controls and control expenditures for the account
- Assist the Executive Chef with planning and crafting menus
- Produce and implement catering events
- Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with company marketing and culinary team
- Supervise hourly associates and oversee food preparation and cooking
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Participate in client satisfaction programs and activities
