Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 3 years culinary experience in a professional kitchen
  • prior supervisory experience
  • knowledge of food safety standards
  • physical stamina to work long hours in a fast-paced environment
  • flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification
  • previous experience as a sous chef or similar role
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • knowledge of Southeast Asian cuisine preferred
  • excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • ability to work efficiently under pressure

Job Duties

  • Plan and direct food preparation in the kitchen
  • supervise and coordinate kitchen staff activities
  • maintain high standards of food quality and consistency
  • monitor kitchen operations and resolve arising problems promptly
  • assist in menu development and recipe creation
  • ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • manage inventory and ordering of kitchen supplies
