Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years cooking experience with some supervisory experience
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Good working knowledge of computer software including MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to work the kitchen line in all positions
  • Must maintain a high level of sanitation and safety
  • Follow established company policies and procedures
  • Ability to think quickly and make decisions
  • Supervisory skills and ability to instruct others
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
  • Physical ability to handle bending, reaching, prolonged standing, and lifting items up to six feet high

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years plus cooking experience with some supervisory experience
  • Good working knowledge of computer software including MS Word and Excel
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and guests
  • Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively in English
  • Knowledge of culinary departments
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism

Job Duties

  • Train and develop employee's skills
  • Help cook at busy change overs/callouts/vacations/breaks as needed
  • Assist in production and quality levels of all food products, both incoming and outgoing
  • Maintain proper sanitation environment including proper use, cleaning and handling of all equipment and product
  • Maintain open and daily communication with staff and management
  • Assist the Room Chefs and other Assistant Restaurant Chefs as needed
  • Timely execution of all responsibilities and assignments
