The Chef Manager role at Aramark is a vital leadership position that blends culinary expertise with team management and operational oversight. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Chef Manager will be instrumental in delivering exceptional food experiences and customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing kitchen personnel, fostering team development, enforcing safety protocols, and maintaining high-quality standards across all culinary activities. The Chef Manager will also have a strategic role in budgeting, food procurement, and menu planning, ensuring the culinary operation runs efficiently and profitably while maintaining Aramark's standards.

With a salary range between $72,000 and $75,000 annually, this position offers competitive compensation alongside a comprehensive benefits package. Job Duties

  • Train and manage kitchen personnel and supervise/coordinate all related culinary activities
  • estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food
  • select and develop recipes as well as standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality
  • establish presentation technique and quality standards, and plan and price menus
  • ensure proper equipment operation/maintenance and ensure proper safety and sanitation in kitchen
  • oversee special catering events and may also offer culinary instruction and/or demonstrates culinary techniques
