Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar position
  • ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
  • flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • adherence to corporate standard operating procedures and local labor laws

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position
  • knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation standards
  • ability to manage and train kitchen staff
  • strong communication and leadership skills
  • familiarity with inventory management and stock ordering
  • understanding of food safety, labeling, and temperature control protocols
  • flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • physical capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs

Job Duties

  • Supporting the Chef de Cuisine by ensuring labor and food cost targets are met
  • running an efficient, productive, and professional kitchen on a day-to-day basis when Chef de Cuisine is not present
  • creating a daily log to communicate effectively with management and team members
  • developing a passionate and effective kitchen team through hands-on education and positive encouragement
  • ensuring quality and consistency of all dishes prepared and served
  • supervising food preparation and presentation according to restaurant standards
  • working collaboratively with all restaurant and hotel teams to ensure productivity and guest satisfaction
