The role of Sous Chef at Home Team BBQ is a key leadership position within the culinary team, reporting directly to the Culinary Operations team and the Executive Chef. This full-time position entails managing daily kitchen operations, supervising hourly kitchen staff, and upholding strict quality control measures related to food standards and cost efficiency. The Sous Chef is responsible for overseeing the entire Back of House during their shifts, ensuring smooth, well-coordinated service while managing labor, enforcing corrective action as necessary, and maintaining a high level of food quality consistent with the company's standards.

Job Qualifications
- At least 5 years’ experience as a chef/line cook
- Serve Safe certified

- Ability to provide the highest level of guest satisfaction and resolve guest issues
- Leadership ability to supervise culinary staff
- Basic math skills including add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure
- Computer proficiency in Word and Excel and ability to learn company POS system
- Effective communication skills in English, bilingual in Spanish a plus
