Job Requirements

- Formal culinary training from a recognized Indian culinary institute

Job Duties
- Supervise line cooks and culinary utility staff, overseeing all Indian kitchen stations during dinner service to ensure consistent execution, flavor accuracy, and timely plating
- Lead the tandoor and bread stations, preparing meats, seafood, and traditional breads like naan and roti to order using authentic techniques
- Ensure curry bases such as makhani, korma, bhuna, and chettinad are properly finished, seasoned, and plated
- Act as the main liaison with front-of-house, managing ticket flow, responding to service notes, and maintaining high standards in timing, temperature, and presentation
- Monitor daily food needs, requisition supplies, and assist in special event execution featuring ceremonial or festive Indian dishes
- Support training, staffing, and performance management of the culinary team, recommend equipment repairs, and resolve guest concerns within scope while maintaining a smooth and collaborative kitchen operation
