Job Requirements
- 2-year college degree
- Associates degree in Culinary Arts
- Three years work experience
- ServSafe or similar program certification
- Ability to speak effectively before groups
- Desired experience with HACCP principles
- Desired management experience with Classified Civil Service, Union, and Student staffs

Job Duties
- Provide leadership to the food production team that supports patient and retail food services
- Supervise, coordinate and participate in activities of assistant sous chefs, cooks and other kitchen personnel
- Initiate partnerships with other departments
- Lead the development of new menu items
- Train food service staff in production, preparation and garnishing techniques and enforce quality standards
- Requisition all food and food related products
- Manage responsibility for sanitation plan and create policies and procedures in accordance with HACCP and applicable food codes and practices
