Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of culinary experience in a high-volume setting
- Proven leadership ability in kitchen management
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Computer literacy including Microsoft Office
Job Qualifications
- Associate of Science degree or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of progressive high-volume culinary or kitchen management experience preferred
- Catering experience preferred
- Experience in high-volume, complex foodservice operations
- Knowledge of institutional and batch cooking
- Comprehensive understanding of food and catering trends focused on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, email, and internet
- ServSafe certification highly desirable
- Willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs and activities
Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and controlling expenditures for the account
- Assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
- Produce and execute catering events
- Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with Flik's marketing and culinary team
- Supervise hourly associates in food preparation and kitchen operations
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborate on ordering and inventory management
