Job Requirements

  • culinary leadership experience
  • ability to supervise and coordinate kitchen staff
  • strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work full time, Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
  • capability to manage inventory and supplies
  • experience in food preparation following standardized recipes

Job Qualifications

  • culinary leadership experience required
  • experience supervising and managing food service staff
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • familiarity with inventory management
  • good problem-solving abilities

Job Duties

  • helps Executive Chef prepare and cook foods
  • coordinates activities of cooks and other food-service associates
  • assumes responsibility for kitchen and food-service associates in the absence of Executive Chef
  • cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
  • supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and participating in reviews
  • ensures food safety and sanitation by storing food properly and maintaining cleanliness
  • interacts with customers to resolve complaints and explains menu items accurately
  • monitors inventory, product deliveries, and tracks product consumption and waste
