Job Duties

  • Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
  • Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and recommending disciplinary action
  • Stores food in designated areas following all food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures
  • Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils and cleans workstation before leaving area
  • Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a service-oriented manner and reports to supervisor
  • Demonstrates understanding of daily menu items and explains them accurately to associates and customers
  • Monitors inventory, deliveries, tracks product production, consumption and waste and informs supervisor of supply needs
  • Performs other duties as assigned
