Job Requirements

  • Previous culinary experience required
  • ability to work full-time multiple shifts
  • must be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodation
  • must maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation
  • ability to lift and stand for extended periods
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to resolve customer complaints professionally

Job Qualifications

  • Previous culinary experience
  • knowledge of food safety regulations
  • ability to supervise and manage food service associates
  • strong communication and customer service skills
  • understanding of portion control and food presentation
  • ability to work flexible shifts
  • familiarity with inventory management

Job Duties

  • Cook and prepare food following approved recipes and production standards
  • ensure all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • supervise hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, performance reviews, and recommending disciplinary action
  • store food in designated areas complying with corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
  • ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
  • maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils and clean workstation thoroughly before leaving area
  • interact with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner and relay relevant information to supervisor
  • demonstrate complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explain them to associates and customers
  • monitor inventory and deliveries of product and supplies, track product production, consumption and waste, and inform supervisor when supplies or product are low
  • perform other duties as assigned
