Job Requirements
- Sous chef experience in banquets, mass production, and catering required
- Must complete a chef test
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, 6 am to 3 pm
- Capacity to supervise and lead kitchen staff
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
- Excellent communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience as a sous chef in banquets, mass production, and catering
- Ability to complete a chef test successfully
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and portion control standards
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Experience in inventory management
- Ability to work a full time schedule Monday through Friday from 6 am to 3 pm
Job Duties
- Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
- Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
- Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, performance reviews, and recommending disciplinary actions
- Stores food in designated areas in compliance with all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and appropriate serving temperatures
- Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils and cleans workstations before leaving
- Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly and service-oriented manner
- Monitors inventory and deliveries of products and supplies and informs supervisor when items are low
- Performs other duties as assigned
