Job Requirements

  • Sous chef experience in banquets, mass production, and catering required
  • Must complete a chef test
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday, 6 am to 3 pm
  • Capacity to supervise and lead kitchen staff
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a sous chef in banquets, mass production, and catering
  • Ability to complete a chef test successfully
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and portion control standards
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Experience in inventory management
  • Ability to work a full time schedule Monday through Friday from 6 am to 3 pm

Job Duties

  • Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
  • Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, performance reviews, and recommending disciplinary actions
  • Stores food in designated areas in compliance with all food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and appropriate serving temperatures
  • Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils and cleans workstations before leaving
  • Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly and service-oriented manner
  • Monitors inventory and deliveries of products and supplies and informs supervisor when items are low
  • Performs other duties as assigned
