Job Requirements

  • Prior culinary experience is required
  • Ability to work full-time schedule Monday through Friday
  • Must be able to work varying hours as indicated
  • Must have the ability to supervise others
  • Commitment to maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to interact positively with customers and resolve complaints
  • Ability to perform essential kitchen duties satisfactorily

Job Qualifications

  • Prior culinary experience
  • Ability to supervise and lead a team
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage inventory and supplies
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
  • Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and participating in reviews
  • Stores food following all corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintains appropriate serving temperatures
  • Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils and cleans workstations
  • Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly and service-oriented manner
  • Demonstrates understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them
  • Monitors inventory and deliveries, tracks product production and waste
  • Performs other duties as assigned
