Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior culinary experience preferred
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule including some nights and weekends
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to comply with all food safety regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Willingness to perform physical tasks associated with kitchen work

Job Qualifications

  • Prior culinary experience preferred
  • Ability to supervise and manage kitchen staff
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience with inventory management
  • Ability to handle customer service situations professionally
  • Ability to work varied shifts including some nights and weekends

Job Duties

  • Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
  • Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, participating in reviews and recommending disciplinary action as appropriate
  • Stores food in designated areas following all corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
  • Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils and cleans workstation thoroughly
  • Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner and relays information to supervisor
  • Monitors inventory and deliveries of product and supplies, tracks product production, consumption and waste
  • Performs other duties as assigned
