Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior management, catering, banquet, and restaurant experience is required
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to work full-time schedule including varied hours and weekends
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to kitchen work
  • Willingness to follow company policies including safety protocols

Job Duties

  • Cook and prepare food following approved recipes and production standards
  • Ensure all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • Supervise hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and participating in reviews
  • Store food in designated areas following all corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
  • Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils and clean workstation thoroughly before leaving area
  • Interact with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner and relay relevant information directly to supervisor
  • Monitor inventory and deliveries of product and supplies
  • Track product production, consumption and waste and inform supervisor when supplies or product are low
