Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working as Sous Chef in a volume-based business, upscaled dining preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate discretion and leadership in employee relations matters
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, events/catering software, timekeeping/scheduling, and POS systems
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to understand, speak and follow English instructions
  • Must obtain manager food safety certifications
  • Flexible and dependable to work full-time day or night shifts, weekends and holidays, up to 50 hours per week
  • Culinary degree preferred

  • 3+ years of experience as Sous Chef in a similar volume-based, upscaled dining business
  • Culinary degree preferred
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, events/catering software, timekeeping/scheduling systems, and POS systems
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating and communicating across organizational levels
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand, speak and follow instructions in English

Job Duties

  • Maintain highest quality and standards in daily kitchen operations
  • Oversee production, operation, safety and sanitation within the kitchen
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrate leadership and discretion in handling complex employee relations
  • Ensure compliance with manager food safety certifications
  • Work flexibly on full-time day or night shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Support kitchen team to deliver exceptional food and service
