Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years' experience in a kitchen environment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of banquet food preparation
  • Ability to work in high volume and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to follow directions and recipes
  • Flexibility in working different stations
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule
  • Ability to operate computer-based recipe and inventory programs

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum two years' experience in a kitchen environment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Knowledgeable about preparation and production of entrees, soups, and salads in banquet settings
  • Ability to prepare quality food in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to follow directions and recipes
  • Prior experience in banquet service preferred
  • Culinary arts degree preferred
  • Flexibility to work different stations
  • Quick learning agility

Job Duties

  • Prepare food for all stations including specials
  • Ensure sanitation and food safety in designated food stations
  • Track cycle menus and temperature control logs
  • Assist management with food production and catering
  • Lead the team in the absence of the Chef
  • Maintain high food quality and customer confidence
  • Control food costs and maximize revenue
