Job Requirements

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years of culinary leadership experience
  • Prior experience in a hotel kitchen preferred
  • Ability to lead and manage a team
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • A minimum of two years culinary leadership experience in a high-volume restaurant setting
  • Previous hotel culinary experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to develop and implement menu selections
  • Proficiency in inventory control and cost management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef in the direction and oversight of all culinary operations including meal preparation and production
  • Ensure food quality and presentation meet hotel standards
  • Maintain compliance with safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards
  • Oversee team member productivity, training, scheduling, and performance management
  • Implement policies and procedures to enhance kitchen efficiency
  • Assist in menu creation for special banquet themes and events
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and cost controls to maximize profitability
