Job Requirements
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of culinary leadership experience
- Prior experience in a hotel kitchen preferred
- Ability to lead and manage a team
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of two years culinary leadership experience in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Previous hotel culinary experience preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to develop and implement menu selections
- Proficiency in inventory control and cost management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef in the direction and oversight of all culinary operations including meal preparation and production
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet hotel standards
- Maintain compliance with safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards
- Oversee team member productivity, training, scheduling, and performance management
- Implement policies and procedures to enhance kitchen efficiency
- Assist in menu creation for special banquet themes and events
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost controls to maximize profitability
