Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 3 years experience in a professional kitchen setting
  • demonstrated experience in seafood preparation
  • knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • physical stamina to stand for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in upscale seafood or fine dining restaurants
  • solid knowledge of seafood preparation and cooking techniques
  • leadership and team management skills
  • culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred
  • ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • strong organizational and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef in kitchen operations
  • oversee daily food preparation and quality control
  • manage and train kitchen staff
  • ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

  • maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization
  • monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
