Job Requirements

  • Education at least A.S. degree or equivalent experience
  • progressive culinary and kitchen management experience
  • experience in catering is preferred
  • knowledge of high volume foodservice operations
  • ability to manage food cost controls and maintain sanitation standards
  • proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office suite and email
  • willingness to engage in client satisfaction activities
  • ServSafe certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • A.S. or equivalent experience
  • some progressive culinary/kitchen management experience
  • catering experience a plus
  • high volume, complex foodservice operations experience
  • institutional and batch cooking experience
  • comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends
  • computer proficiency including Microsoft Office, Outlook, email, and internet
  • willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs
  • ServSafe certification highly desirable

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and control expenditures
  • assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
  • produce and execute catering events
  • roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with company marketing and culinary team
  • supervise kitchen staff and daily culinary operations
  • ensure sanitary and food safety standards are maintained
  • assist with ordering and inventory management
