Job Requirements
- Education at least A.S. degree or equivalent experience
- progressive culinary and kitchen management experience
- experience in catering is preferred
- knowledge of high volume foodservice operations
- ability to manage food cost controls and maintain sanitation standards
- proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office suite and email
- willingness to engage in client satisfaction activities
- ServSafe certification preferred
Job Qualifications
- A.S. or equivalent experience
- some progressive culinary/kitchen management experience
- catering experience a plus
- high volume, complex foodservice operations experience
- institutional and batch cooking experience
- comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends
- computer proficiency including Microsoft Office, Outlook, email, and internet
- willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs
- ServSafe certification highly desirable
Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and control expenditures
- assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
- produce and execute catering events
- roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with company marketing and culinary team
- supervise kitchen staff and daily culinary operations
- ensure sanitary and food safety standards are maintained
- assist with ordering and inventory management
