The role of Back of House (BOH) Team Leader at The Pacific Catch, Inc. is a full-time, hourly position designed for experienced kitchen leaders who are passionate about first-class service and exceptional hospitality. Reporting directly to the Chef, the BOH Team Leader will play a critical role in overseeing daily culinary operations, ensuring that kitchen culture remains professional and positive, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation. This position involves working approximately 40 hours per week with an additional 7.5 hours of scheduled overtime on average, based on the business needs. The BOH Team Leader is responsible for leading, training, and inspiring the kitchen team while managing inventory, food waste control, scheduling, and equipment maintenance. The role requires a hands-on approach to ensure that every dish served excites guests and meets the company’s quality standards. Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 5 hours in length
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 25 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Culinary Arts degree preferred
- Be team focused, able to lead and motivate
- Two years BOH management experience in a high volume, full-service restaurant
- Technology savvy: comfortable with MS Office, Google Apps/programs, Toast POS and HARRI Time and Scheduling
- Must possess exemplary knife skills and the ability to coach/train others
- Demonstrated success in managing people and strong leadership skills
- English proficient, bilingual a plus
