Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or a similar role in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment
  • Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and food presentation
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
  • Solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and develop creative menus that align with our culinary concept and target audience
  • Assist in supervising and training kitchen staff, ensuring proper techniques, procedures, and hygiene standards are followed at all times
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain consistency and quality in all dishes
  • Manage inventory levels, monitor food costs, and assist in ordering supplies to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Act as a mentor to junior members of the team, providing guidance, support, and fostering a positive work culture
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of kitchen operations, actively participating in menu development, and suggesting process enhancements
  • Assist in coordinating and executing special events, catering services, and private dining experiences as required
