The Sous Chef position at HumanGood plays a pivotal role within the culinary team, directly supporting the Executive Chef by managing and mentoring kitchen staff while showcasing advanced culinary skills. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years related work experience including kitchen supervisory experience
- ServSafe certification and/or Food Handlers Certification or enrollment in certification course preferred
- ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- strong culinary skills with knowledge of food safety and preparation
- reliable and professional demeanor
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- some culinary schooling preferred
- 3-5 years of related work experience
- ServSafe certification and/or Food Handlers Certification preferred
- equivalent combination of training and experience
- associates degree in culinary arts or advanced culinary training preferred
- kitchen supervisory experience in hotel, senior community, or restaurant environment
Job Duties
- Manage and mentor kitchen staff
