Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef, and Chef de Cuisine, the Sous Chef will play a vital role in planning, organizing, and supervising all aspects of food preparation. The Sous Chef ensures that the highest standards of food quality, freshness, and cleanliness are upheld consistently in alignment with the hotel's renowned standards. The monthly compensation for this full-time role ranges from $5,833.33 to $6,437.50, reflecting the seniority and responsibility associated with the position. Job Requirements
- Culinary degree or relevant certification
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills
- Physically able to perform kitchen duties
- Commitment to sustainability and quality
Job Qualifications
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory kitchen role
- Strong leadership and team management skills

Job Duties
- Perform all tasks in the Alan Wong's Restaurant including relieving the Chef de Cuisine
- Supervise and train all kitchen employees at the restaurant
- Assist the Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef, and Chef de Cuisine in planning and organizing food preparation
- Ensure maintenance of food quality and freshness standards
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to manage daily operations effectively
- Implement sustainability practices in food sourcing and preparation
