Job Requirements

  • at least 18 years of age
  • lift up to 50 pounds
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to 3 years culinary experience
  • regional travel less than 10 percent
  • Serv-Safe certification preferred
  • food safety knowledge

  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • assist with ordering materials and supplies
  • plan menus and manage inventory
  • implement sanitation and cost control programs
  • direct and coordinate the work of kitchen team members
  • train and manage kitchen staff
  • lead the kitchen in absence of Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager
  • inspect food quality and preparation
  • monitor waste and maintain waste logs
  • track weekly and monthly food inventories
  • review financial transactions and budgets
  • ensure equipment meets food preparation and safety standards
