Job Description

Water Street Restaurants is seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Sous Chef to join their team. The Sous Chef will play a key role in upholding the company's mission, vision, and values while overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen and ensuring high standards of food quality and service delivery.

Job Requirements

  • Physical, Mental Essential Functions of the Job: Stands and walks for up to six (6) to ten (10) hours per day on a concrete surface
  • Lifts and carries food items weighing between 40 and 75 pounds without assistance, up to 150 pounds with assistance
  • Pushes/pulls and maneuvers items of varying weights up to 150 pounds
  • Bends, stoops, twists, and reaches frequently
  • Uses hands and fingers to hold and handle objects effectively
  • Must have corrected vision and hearing
  • Capable of effective communication and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Mentally alert and capable of remembering details and following instructions for equipment use
  • Able to work in controlled environmental conditions and identify hazards.
