Job Description

Covenant Living and CovenantCare at Home is looking for a dedicated individual to join their team and oversee daily culinary operations. This position involves supervising the production of daily specials, ensuring quality control, and assisting during busy service times. The Culinary Supervisor will work closely with the Executive Chef in planning, ordering, inventory, and food preparation.

Job Requirements

  • Required degree: High school diploma
  • Preferred degree: Culinary Arts Degree
  • Certification(s): Current and approved sanitation certification, Safe Food Handling certification
  • Experience: Minimum of three years lead experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role at a high-volume restaurant, 5+ years of experience managing high-volume kitchens, 3+ years of experience in fine dining and culinary leadership roles
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Ability: Proficiency in various kitchen stations, advanced knife skills, inventory management, recipe production, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong organizational skills, proficiency with computers and software applications, excellent communication skills, flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, work in a kitchen environment, attention to detail, withstand temperature and humidity changes, exposure to physical and environmental hazards
