Job Duties
- Work closely with the Executive Chef to create a high-quality menu that meets customer expectations
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and menus
- Monitor food quality and consistency and make adjustments as necessary
- Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and other kitchen staff
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met and maintained
- Estimate amounts and costs of required supplies such as food and ingredients
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
- Train and educate kitchen staff on safety protocols and proper food preparation techniques
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Work with the Executive Chef to develop new recipes and menu items
