Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of culinary experience in a fine dining environment
  • Proven supervisory experience in a kitchen setting
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene standards
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when necessary

  • Familiarity with bartending or beverage service is a plus for comprehensive team support

Job Duties

  • Support the Executive Chef in managing all aspects of kitchen operations including food preparation presentation and service
  • Supervise kitchen staff providing guidance training and motivation to maintain high performance levels
  • Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency quality and adherence to recipes and standards
  • Manage inventory control and ordering to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing waste
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean organized work environment
  • Assist with menu planning and development for various dining occasions including banquets and catering events
  • Coordinate shift management and delegate tasks effectively to meet service demands
  • Monitor food handling practices and ensure proper sanitation procedures are followed at all times
