Job Requirements

  • At least four years of culinary experience in a high volume banquet facility
  • ability to lead and supervise kitchen staff
  • knowledge of food safety regulations
  • good organizational skills
  • strong communication abilities
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends

Job Duties

  • Lead a staff of 10 or more cooks with varying levels of experience
  • maintain food costs and control budgets
  • create innovative menu ideas
  • assess front of house and back of house operational needs
  • supervise all kitchen and stewarding staff in the absence of the Executive Chef
  • assist the Executive Chef with staffing, performance reviews, and disciplinary documentation
  • conduct quality control including taste testing and line cook supervision to ensure food standards
  • collaborate with Food and Beverage staff to enhance guest dining experience
