Job Requirements
- No education required
- 3+ years of experience in a professional kitchen with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role
- Must be able to lift at least 60 pounds
- Ability to work full-time schedule including 10 hour shifts
- Must be able to work on-site in downtown Chandler
- Flexibility to work varied shifts
- Strong physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a professional kitchen with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role
- Passion for farm-to-table cooking and understanding of seasonal ingredients and their role in menu planning
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards kitchen equipment and sanitation protocols
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate train and guide kitchen staff
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and consistency
- Creative approach to cooking with a focus on flavor presentation and sustainability
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team
- Must be able to lift at least 60 pounds
Job Duties
- Assist in overseeing kitchen operations ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Work alongside the Executive Chef to develop and execute seasonal menus based on locally sourced ingredients
- Supervise and train kitchen staff ensuring they adhere to food safety and quality standards
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to high standards
- Manage inventory and ordering ensuring the kitchen is stocked with fresh ingredients at all times
- Maintain a clean organized and safe kitchen environment
- Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure excellent guest experiences
- Contribute to menu planning food costing and specials based on seasonal produce and available products
- Assist in managing kitchen prep schedules and timing to ensure consistency during service
