Job Requirements

  • No education required
  • 3+ years of experience in a professional kitchen with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role
  • Must be able to lift at least 60 pounds
  • Ability to work full-time schedule including 10 hour shifts
  • Must be able to work on-site in downtown Chandler
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a professional kitchen with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role
  • Passion for farm-to-table cooking and understanding of seasonal ingredients and their role in menu planning
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards kitchen equipment and sanitation protocols
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate train and guide kitchen staff
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and consistency
  • Creative approach to cooking with a focus on flavor presentation and sustainability
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team
  • Must be able to lift at least 60 pounds

Job Duties

  • Assist in overseeing kitchen operations ensuring smooth and efficient service
  • Work alongside the Executive Chef to develop and execute seasonal menus based on locally sourced ingredients
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff ensuring they adhere to food safety and quality standards
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to high standards
  • Manage inventory and ordering ensuring the kitchen is stocked with fresh ingredients at all times
  • Maintain a clean organized and safe kitchen environment
  • Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure excellent guest experiences
  • Contribute to menu planning food costing and specials based on seasonal produce and available products
  • Assist in managing kitchen prep schedules and timing to ensure consistency during service
