Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree in culinary arts
  • Certificate of completion in culinary arts
  • Certified Food Protection Manager within 3 months
  • ANSI accredited Food Handler Training within 30 days
  • Relevant work experience
  • Ability to lead and manage kitchen staff
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Associate's degree in Culinary Arts
  • Certificate of Completion in Culinary Arts
  • Relevant work experience

Job Duties

  • Support Executive Chef by managing, planning, and directing food preparation with kitchen staff to ensure proper preparation
  • Ensure that food leaving the kitchen is of the highest quality and meets patient and diner satisfaction
  • Ensure correct portioning and attractive plating of food
  • Exhibit strong leadership by being familiar with daily kitchen operations and performing any necessary task
  • Act as intermediary between kitchen and functions ensuring strong communication
  • Ensure all kitchen staff perform at a professional level
  • Coach team members and support leadership during investigations
  • Train new team members and create schedules to maintain adequate kitchen staffing
