Job Requirements
- Graduate of a 2 year culinary arts program or equivalent experience
- minimum 1 year work experience in a relevant culinary position or 3 years experience as a sous chef
- Serv Safe certification within 90 days of hire
- ability to follow standardized recipes and HACCP procedures
- capability to manage food procurement and inventory
- willingness to work day and evening shift rotations including weekends and holidays
- ability to collaborate effectively with management and kitchen staff
Job Qualifications
- Graduate of a 2 year culinary arts program with 1 year work experience or 3 years minimum work experience in a sous chef position
- Serv Safe Certified within 90 days of hire or transfer
- strong culinary skills and knowledge of food safety standards
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- excellent teamwork and communication skills
Job Duties
- Perform large and small-scale cooking
- bake and prepare food according to standardized recipes
- present food in a visually appealing and sanitary manner
- plan and coordinate timely flow of food ingredients
- procure food and supplies
- collaborate with management staff to achieve departmental goals
- ensure proper HACCP procedures and documentation are followed
