We are currently seeking a full-time Sous Chef to join our hardworking team and play an integral role in maintaining the high standards for which Doc's is known. The Sous Chef will work closely with the Executive Chef and Front of House Manager to establish and nurture a positive, comfortable, and enjoyable work environment. This role requires a motivated individual who embodies confident and respectful communication skills with fellow staff members. Our ideal candidate has several years of experience in high-quality, fast-paced restaurants, demonstrating proficiency in culinary techniques and kitchen management. Additionally, computer skills will significantly enhance efficiency and coordination within the kitchen operations.
As a key leadership position, the Sous Chef will support the Chef in overseeing daily kitchen activities, managing staff, maintaining food quality, and ensuring operational excellence. They will be instrumental in upholding Doc's signature approach to hospitality, aiming to always find a way to say "yes" to guests and colleagues alike. Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work full time
