The company prides itself on creating a supportive and engaging environment for seniors, combining high-quality care with a vibrant residential experience. Belmont Village's well-established reputation comes from its commitment to core values such as Trust, Respect, Teamwork, Dignity, Integrity, Ownership, and Learning. These values guide their team members to deliver compassionate, respectful, and dignified service in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Their teams consist of servant leaders who are dedicated to serving this demographic with empathy and professionalism. The culture fosters growth, career advancement, and employee well-being through strategic development plans and a wide range of internal opportunities.

The role of Sous Chef at Belmont Village Senior Living is an essential position within their senior living community commercial kitchens. As a Sous Chef, you will be involved in multiple key functions including supervision, food preparation, set-up, service, and clean-up activities. This role requires you to help maintain high standards of food quality and presentation using established company recipes while training new kitchen employees. The Sous Chef supports the Chef Manager and ensures that residents and their guests receive excellent dining experiences that prioritize hospitality and satisfaction.

Working as a Sous Chef here is ideal for someone who excels in a fast-paced, physically active working environment, values reliability, and exhibits pride in their culinary work. Empathy is critical in this setting, as is the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. The role demands an individual with advanced culinary skills, especially in knife handling, food preparation, and attractive plate presentation. This position requires multitasking and efficient management of cook times and orders to maintain smooth kitchen operations.

The work schedule for the Sous Chef position is from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm, with days varying to include weekends and holidays. Employees in this role directly contribute to the overall quality of life for senior residents by ensuring they enjoy nutritious, well-prepared meals served in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Reliable attendance is crucial to sustaining operations and meeting company standards.

Belmont Village offers its employees comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, mental health, and prescription drug coverage, in addition to paid time off, 401(k) savings plans with employer matching, short-term and long-term disability insurance, and life insurance. The company also invests in career growth and training programs led by experts, employee support programs such as BV Cares, and other perks like retail discounts and referral bonuses. This culture of care extends from residents to the employees who serve them, fostering an environment where everyone can succeed and grow professionally.
