Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Culinary degree preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years cooking experience in the hospitality or healthcare industry, with at least two (2) years of supervisory experience
- Food handlers permit as required by state law and/or Company standards
- Proven experience managing kitchen budgets (food, supplies, labor)
- Strong organizational, time management, and leadership skills
- Previous banquet and/or special event planning experience preferred
- Proficient with basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Ability to work varied schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Ability to delegate tasks efficiently and hold team members accountable
- Connect and help residents transition from home to community through thoughtful engagement at every level of interaction
- Build and maintain positive relationships with team members, coworkers, and residents

Job Duties
- Provide high levels of customer service and create a fine dining experience
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure a consistently high standard of food quality, preparation, and presentation
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations for kitchen team members
- Assist in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training new culinary staff
- Maintain a strong sense of teamwork and a positive, professional kitchen culture
- Develop staff work schedules to align with operational needs and budget guidelines
- Assist in menu planning and execution based on resident preferences, seasonal availability, and budgetary considerations
