Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience as a cook or similar culinary role
- Knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
- Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation
- Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Basic math and measurement abilities
- Food safety certification if not previously obtained
Job Qualifications
- Past experience working as a cook or in a similar culinary position
- Comprehensive understanding of food preparation principles and cooking techniques
- Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Certification for food safety if required
- Fundamental arithmetic and numerical abilities
- Skillful in communication and teamwork
- Attaining a high school diploma or its equivalent is favored though not compulsory
Job Duties
- Prepare a range of dishes according to set recipes and guidelines for production
- Prepare workstations by organizing required ingredients and utensils
- Arrange ingredients by cutting, trimming, measuring, blending, and similar tasks
- Properly use various kitchen utensils and equipment such as knives, ovens, stoves, and mixers to ensure safety
- Employ a variety of cooking techniques like baking, broiling, roasting, and steaming to prepare diverse meals
- Organize and ornament dishes based on defined expectations for presentation aesthetics
- Adhere to specified food safety procedures and store food appropriately
- Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils
- Deliver top-notch customer support with a positive demeanor
- Follow all safety and sanitation protocols diligently
- Ensure the safety of corporate valuables
