Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- recognized culinary training
- at least two years experience as a first cook
- prior supervisory experience
- hospitality experience preferred
- Food Safe certificate
- HACCP certification
- First Aid with CPR and AED

Job Duties
- Assign specific duties to all kitchen employees for efficient kitchen operation
- visually inspect and select fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, fish, fowl and other food products for preparation
- train and supervise kitchen staff in proper preparation of menu items
- ensure proper receiving, storage, including temperature settings and charts, and rotation of food products according to health department and HACCP regulations
- adhere to control procedures for food cost and quality
- follow and apply math skills in recipe preparation
- process requisitions for kitchen supplies
