Job Requirements
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in culinary arts or equivalent combination of education and 2-3 years’ experience in food preparation
- one to three years of related experience
- current ServSafe Manager Certification
- ability to work weekends and holidays
- ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb stairs, and stoop all day
- ability to lift and move items over 20 pounds
- willingness to operate a vehicle for work-related duties
- ability to work in hot indoor temperatures and around sharp objects
- strong interpersonal skills to handle urgent matters and conflicts

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook meals for residents
- assist the Executive Chef with overseeing daily kitchen operations
- maintain the highest quality food products and service for seniors
- maintain kitchen sanitation and safety standards
- ensure compliance with state, local, and regulatory agencies related to food service
- manage the entire kitchen in the Executive Chef’s absence
- operate company or personal vehicles as required to perform job duties
