Job Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in culinary arts or equivalent combination of education and 2-3 years’ experience in food preparation
  • one to three years of related experience
  • current ServSafe Manager Certification
  • ability to work weekends and holidays
  • ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb stairs, and stoop all day
  • ability to lift and move items over 20 pounds
  • willingness to operate a vehicle for work-related duties
  • ability to work in hot indoor temperatures and around sharp objects
  • strong interpersonal skills to handle urgent matters and conflicts

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook meals for residents
  • assist the Executive Chef with overseeing daily kitchen operations
  • maintain the highest quality food products and service for seniors
  • maintain kitchen sanitation and safety standards
  • ensure compliance with state, local, and regulatory agencies related to food service
  • manage the entire kitchen in the Executive Chef’s absence
  • operate company or personal vehicles as required to perform job duties
