Job Requirements

  • At least four years of kitchen leadership experience
  • Availability for weekends and evenings
  • Flexible schedule
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong commitment to quality and food safety standards
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum four years of kitchen lead experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant
  • Proven experience mentoring and managing kitchen staff
  • Strong knowledge and passion for Mexican cuisine
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with executive chef to develop innovative menus
  • Oversee kitchen operations managing timing, quality, and presentation
  • Mentor and guide kitchen staff fostering teamwork and skill development
  • Ensure consistency and authenticity in every dish prepared
  • Lead kitchen in the absence of the executive chef
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Manage inventory and coordinate with suppliers
