Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Four years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
- Or two-year degree from accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with two years experience in culinary or related area
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle guest feedback and resolve complaints
- Experience with labor scheduling and budget management
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Manage kitchen shift operations ensuring compliance with food and beverage policies
- Estimate daily production needs and communicate to kitchen personnel
- Assist Executive Chef with kitchen operations and food preparation
- Prepare and cook various food items including special event menus
- Develop new culinary applications, ideas, and decorative food displays
- Maintain purchasing, receiving, and food storage standards
- Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
- Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and kitchen staff
- Lead kitchen shifts and execute food preparation as per specifications
- Utilize interpersonal and communication skills to lead and motivate team members
- Foster trust, respect, and cooperation among kitchen staff
- Maintain employee productivity and enforce performance expectations
- Set a positive example and manage guest relations for exceptional customer service
- Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints effectively
- Achieve and exceed performance, budget, and team goals
- Schedule staff using labor management systems to meet business demands
- Train employees in safety and sanitation procedures
- Identify developmental needs and provide coaching or mentoring
- Participate in employee performance appraisals
- Communicate and assist employees in understanding guest needs
- Attend meetings and contribute to problem-solving and operational improvements
