Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role in a high-volume restaurant environment
- Strong culinary skills with a passion for Latin American cuisine, particularly Chino-Latino cuisine
- Understanding and experience with wok cooking techniques and Peruvian/Cuban cooking techniques
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Effective interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with food handling, safety, and compliant restaurant guidelines for Mecklenburg County
- High school diploma (Culinary degree preferred)

Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation
- Lead, train, and develop kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment
- Oversee the preparation and cooking of menu items, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish
- Manage inventory, ordering, and kitchen supplies to maintain efficient operations
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards in the kitchen
- Contribute to menu development and the creation of new dishes that reflect the vibrant flavors of Latin America
- Monitor and control food costs to maximize profitability
