Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years culinary experience or equivalent training
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 4 am-2 pm
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of cost control and inventory management
- Ability to supervise kitchen staff
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
Job Qualifications
- A.S. or equivalent experience
- Some progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
- Catering experience a plus
- Experience with high volume complex foodservice operations
- Knowledge of institutional and batch cooking
- Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Internet
- Willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs
- ServSafe certified preferred
Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and expenditures for the account
- Assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
- Produce and execute catering events
- Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with company marketing and culinary team
- Supervise hourly kitchen associates
- Ensure quality food production and presentation
- Maintain sanitation and food safety standards
