Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or culinary degree
  • previous kitchen management experience
  • knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation
  • experience working in fine dining or high-volume kitchens
  • ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • leadership and team management skills
  • excellent communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food preparation within a fine dining or high-volume restaurant environment
  • strong knowledge of kitchen management practices including inventory control and food safety regulations
  • experience in banquet service preferred
  • excellent menu planning skills with a creative approach
  • ability to work collaboratively while demonstrating leadership
  • strong communication skills and passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences

Job Duties

  • Ensure preparation, plating, and presentation standards are maintained
  • supervise kitchen associates and provide training, development, and coaching
  • monitor maintenance and sanitation of kitchen and equipment
  • work closely with Executive Chef on special projects
  • promote and maintain team cohesion
  • create menu items and daily specials
  • oversee food quality and inventory control
