Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 5 years culinary experience preferably in fine dining
- culinary sanitation certification such as ServSafe and/or HACCP
- knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
- strong leadership and team management skills
- excellent communication abilities
- proficiency with Microsoft office applications
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- capability to perform physical tasks associated with kitchen operations
- ability to multitask and prioritize
- commitment to comply with safety and sanitation policies
Job Qualifications
- 5 years or more of relevant culinary experience with fine dining preferred
- mastery of a wide variety of kitchen positions and stations
- ability to think on feet and create, produce, and serve on the fly
- knowledge of food cost and quality identification
- excellent interpersonal, customer service, oral and written communication skills
- food service sanitation certification such as ServSafe and/or HACCP
- knowledge of HACCP controls and proper food storage and use
- ability to monitor compliance with health and fire regulations
- skill in reviewing work procedures to improve service, performance, and safety
- proficient in Microsoft applications
- exceptional business etiquette and client relations
- effective time management and prioritization skills
Job Duties
- Lead the Delta Sky Club's food and beverage daily operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience and unparalleled food and beverage offerings
- mentor and develop a passionate, dedicated, and diligent team
- ensure compliance with Compass-established policies and procedures
- maintain food cost while ensuring quality standards are consistently met in an a la carte dining environment
- assist Executive Chef to assure compliance with all sanitation, safety, food safety, production, and quality standards
- motivate, train, develop, and direct back-of-house employees to accomplish operational objectives
- ensure high-quality food items are prepared to Delta Sky Club's standards
- assist in planning, ordering, inventory, and food preparation
- support management of cost controls and expenditures
- roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with culinary teams
- establish and maintain exceptional rapport with staff, clients, guests, and other departments
- perform related duties and special projects as assigned
