Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years as a Sous Chef in a full service restaurant
- Commitment to maintaining health and safety standards
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to handle high volume kitchen operations
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Sous Chef in a full-service restaurant
- Knowledge of Italian cuisine and scratch-based cooking techniques
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Food safety certification preferred
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience beneficial
Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and consistency
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to safety and health standards
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to uphold company standards
- Coordinate inventory and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations
- Contribute to menu development and daily specials
