Job Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- progressive culinary and kitchen management experience
- high end catering experience
- strong culinary leadership
- experience with high volume complex foodservice operations
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- computer proficiency including Microsoft Office suite
- ServSafe certification preferred
- willingness to engage in client satisfaction activities
- ability to supervise and lead kitchen staff
Job Qualifications
- A.S. or equivalent experience
- some progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
- high end catering experience
- union experience is a plus
- culinary leadership skills
- experience in high volume and complex foodservice operations
- knowledge of institutional and batch cooking
- comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends
- proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, email, and internet
- willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs
- ServSafe certification highly desirable
Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and control expenditures for the account
- assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
- produce and execute catering events
- roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with Company marketing and culinary team
- supervise hourly associates
- collaborate with Executive Chef to develop new menus
- assist with ordering food and supplies
