Job Requirements
- Experience leading high-volume kitchens
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational skills
- Willing to work varying days, nights, holidays, and weekends
- Eligible to work in the United States
- At least 18 years of age

- HACCP or Serv-Safe food safety trained and certificate is preferred
- Bi-lingual abilities are a plus
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong training and development background
- Knowledge of cost controls
Job Duties
- Lead the culinary department with integrity, purpose, and a commitment to excellence
- Inspire and empower staff to consistently deliver exceptional service
- Support the Andretti Indoor Karting and Games motto of striving for perfection and achieving excellence
- Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly kitchen operations including food ordering, staffing, scheduling, cleanliness, service timing, and product quality
- Ensure all culinary offerings for banquets, buffets, and events meet AIKG standards
- Maintain compliance with all food and beverage preparation and health regulations
- Assist in development and training of culinary staff and supervisors
- Support staff training and employee relations initiatives
- Foster high morale among culinary staff
- Participate actively in recruitment and retention of staff
- Manage labor and food costs to align with budget goals
- Ensure site inspections meet or exceed standards
- Maintain organization and cleanliness in all food storage and kitchen areas
- Collaborate with sales department for event scheduling and planning
- Oversee inventory and maintenance of culinary equipment
