Job Duties
- assist the Chef de Cuisine in setting leadership standards
- provide direction and supervision to culinary staff during daily operations
- serve as lead supervisor on duty for each kitchen shift
- act as a role model of personal and professional values
- coordinate guests' nutritional needs in collaboration with Executive Chef
- assist in staff scheduling and supply management
- oversee preparation of soups, vegetables, meats, and other menu items
- ensure proper seasoning and portion control
- manage hot or cold kitchen lines during service
- maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards
- ensure safe use of kitchen knives and equipment
- monitor temperature controls for stoves, grills, broilers, and ovens
- observe kitchen rules and maintain professional conduct
